Clear Environmental was appointed to undertake BRE 365 infiltration testing at a residential development site in Orpington, within the London Borough of Bromley. The assessment supported the sustainable drainage strategy required for planning submission.
Scope
Outcome
We carried out soakaway testing using mechanically excavated trial pits positioned at proposed soakaway locations. Testing was conducted in line with BRE 365 methodology, with results analysed and reported the same day. This enabled the design team to proceed quickly with developing a suitable drainage strategy and submission to the Local Planning Authority.
