Tom Wyllys

Tom is a director of Clear Environmental and leads its environmental due diligence service, advising investors, lenders and legal advisers on environmental risks affecting property acquisitions, disposals and refinancing.

He has worked in environmental consultancy since 2012, previously in director roles at global consultancies. He has acted as lead EDD adviser on transactions across all property sectors in the UK and Europe, from single assets to multinational portfolios, including deals above £1 billion.

Tom’s approach is built around the transaction: establish which environmental risks affect value, liability or lending terms, and which don’t. Where a risk is material, he sets out what it means for the deal and how it can be handled, so clients can price, protect or proceed on a clear basis.
